It's coming along, I'm not real sold on the ambered neck with a natural colored body yet.. May be too much contrast. I'll fool around with some finish ideas, and see what works best.

Well, the amber neck is gone, baby, gone... I worked all day on a new finish, and found a much cooler finish.. Pics to follow...

I concocted a special dye, sealed the pores, and sprayed sanding sealer on there.. looks perfect for this build. Unfortunately, it is too wet to handle or photograph just now.. Pics as soon as I can move it.

Thanks! It's coming along now. I'm developing a dye for the body, too. Just enough amber to look natural, but a little warmer I should be close with the sample finish tomorrow around lunchtime.
