I wish somebody would tie my hands behind my back.. take away the sandpaper and chemicals.. Make me a little less critical... Sheesh.. After looking at the neck for a few days, a complete refinishing of the neck, and extensive work on the face of the headstock- I just can't warm up to it. It leaves me feeling all "cold spaghetti". Actually, it looks real cool- just not on this guitar. Out comes the sanding block...

Well, I did some preliminary rubbing last night, and it is really coming around. The headstock turned out much better, too. I'll shoot a couple of pics and post them later today. I think we're getting close to finishing up and assembling. Probably be able to do the assembly next week if all goes well.

Well- Grandma's barn never sounded this good before...
The guitar sang its first notes this afternoon. It has a ways to go before it's set up, but she's got it goin' on, right from the first note. Glad I was sitting down...
Now Chris will work with her for a few days, and get everything dialed in. Whew.. quite the guitar. ;D
