What a great little practice amp! 11 models, 11 effects, and two user defined settings. Lots of tone in a small, inexpensive package.
Two thumbs up for this little amp!

I use a Roland Microcube for that, and I have been very happy with it. Not the same horsepower, but it's just a practice/recording amp. Otherwise, I use my trusty Carmen Ghia from Doctor Z...

Those Micro Cubes are pretty cool. I use the Vox every day for teaching guitar lessons. I installed a vintage JBL K-110 speaker, and it's pretty bright now. Chris hates it, and calls it "spiky" by comparison to his (he bought one first, then I bought mine because I liked his). I consider it "lively", and super responsive. I do have to be careful, or it can get super trebly. Another of my sons, Andy, has the AD50VT.. it's a real monster.. He got it from Rick Towne, of the TDPRI. Very cool little amp.

I love how music is such a family affair with you and your clan. What a beautiful passion to share.

One hell of a ride, performing with my kids. They're all better than I am...

I bought my kiddos a Squier Mini strat... should be fun. My boys are 6 and my daughter is 3. I got a ways to go before we have a band, but in the mean time, we're having fun raising some holy sonic heck

That's how it starts! Enjoy it while it lasts, nothing is forever. Just be there with them, and stay involved. It'll pay off in spades.

Rich, did you build this tele as well? That guitar is hot. What are the specs?

Yep. I've used that one a whole bunch. Hamer body, Moses graphite neck, Gotoh (Kluson repro) tuners, Schaller roller bridge, early 60's Bigsby B-5 trem, early 60's Gibson P-90 in the neck, SD Lil' 59er in the bridge- all gold hardware. I have an old, terrible quality pic to share, but really should shoot some new ones... Rockin' guitar, for sure...

Graphite neck, huh? Space age!

Yeah, I bought it at the Anaheim NAMM show a few years ago, right from the owner of Moses. Hell of a nice neck. Slick as can be, super stable, nice shape and tone. I've played it at many, many shows, never had to reset anything.. Truss rod got adjusted once, and it has been perfect ever since.

I have never played one. How does it feel on your hand? Is it cold?

No, I've never thought of it as cold. It's very smooth and silky, never sticky. It resonates beautifully with the instrument. I'd equate it with the tightest grain ebony you could imagine. Honestly, I forget that it's there, it is a very comfortable shape, and good sustain. This company makes tons of graphite products, from graphite solidbody upright basses to the Chapman Stick, to fingerboards for high-end electric violins. The stuff is strong, smooth, lively, and stable in any temperature or humidity. Fantastic!
