I've been listening to Rory Gallagher, They Might Be Giants, and Robbie Fulks. And a good helping of J.C. Superstar 'cause I'm working up bass parts for a performance of it next month.

I have been listening to my mp3 player on random so the music i've been listening to has been all over the place. I have been listening to alot of wilco, explosions in the sky, and umphreys mcgee.
If you havn't heard of umphreys I would suggest checking them out, killer players!

I've heard of them, but don't think I've heard any of their music. Hell to get old and crabby... My favorite thing any more is turning the radio off.

Blues, blues & more blues! The first time I listened to The Progressive Blues Experiment album by Johnny Winter I was hooked. There's too many artists to list, but some that I'm digging lately are: Watermelon Slim & the Workers Coco Montoya Jimmy Thackery Tinsley Ellis Joe Bonamassa Tommy Castro

Just saw John Prine and Iris Dement last night. Listened to The Meat Purveyors, The Pine Valley Cosmonauts, Roy Buchanan, Tom Waits, and Trick Pity on the ride there.

umphreys is really good. I have heard them from my kid, who has seen them about 5 times. Dont' tell anyone, but I have been listening to the Dixie Chicks record, Home, lately. The version of Landslide just smote me. Lots of Wilco for me too.

Just saw Brad Paisley perform on the Grammy's. He's a far better guitar player than I thought, plus those paisleycasters are pretty cool too.
