I have a P-92 I can post a picture of...it's a different wind from yours, but that can't be seen in a picture...humbuckers look like humbuckers.

Well, the neck arrived late yesterday. It looks awesome so far. I spent the bulk of last night working on the frets. I'll shoot a couple of pics later today, and continue the build thread here.

I started shaping the heel, softening the corner.. I'll use a round over bit when the time comes, which will increase player comfort- especially with the extra deep body. Then went to work on the neck, flush filing the fret ends, rolling the fingerboard edges, and shaping each fret end. This is another detail that takes some time, but really helps get the neck to feel smooth and comfortable. I rough shaped the headstock, then hand shaped to get the transition to flow nicely from headstock to the neck The shape will be further refined as I go, but it is coming along nicely.

That's Madagascar Kingwood. I really love it, and it has a very similar look/feel/tone to Braz rosewood.

looking at the pictures of that fretboard you probably could have told me it was Braz and charged me more ;D Well, we decided to go with Brazilian rosewood on this guitar. That will be $300, please make the money order payable to Chris Rice.
