Hope the Easter Bunny stopped by each and every one of your houses and left lots of little round things ;D

Same to you, Marty. This was a milestone for us, the first time we went to one of our kids' home for Easter. Wonderful.

Today was good and bad. Good, got together with my mom, sister, brother in law and a few other family members. Bad-it's exactly a year ago today may dad passed away.My mom had a pretty tough morning but the family around really helped. She told us she still really misses him but it does seem to be getting easier for her.I guess thats a good thing. Can't imagine being with someone for 48 years and then not having them there. My sister and I were not looking forward to today for her sake. It's now a new year, things are getting better and there are lots and lots of guitars to build Happy Easter everyone

Yep, holidays are always tougher as years go by, and things happen. Sorry for your loss- it's hard to lose a parent, and their absence is really obvious at family gatherings. My mom is gone, and both in-laws, and my dad moved to Europe 20+ years ago, after my mom passed. Looking to the future, when your kids get older, it becomes your turn to be the old folks at their parties. Kinda scary, but also a wonderful thing to see them moving forward. You'll get your turn, if you live long enough. Just keep love in your heart, honor those around you, and keep building guitars 'til ya drop...
