Just what the title says... what's the latest song you recorded? Doesn't have to be a professional gig, either... For me, it was a lesson for how to play Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd, a by-request video. You?

That Anderson looks really sweet! I saw a pic over on TDPRI. Got a pic to put in here?

Thanks Rich. Yes, it's a sweet guitar, and that at price, even though I hadn't planned on buying it, I couldn't pass it up. As requested, a couple of pics:

Daddy's Little Girl on the soundclips page. Don't listen too closely, I don't really know the changes and have never played it on upright bass before that night (and we were on a tight deadline to finish the song for my sister's wedding).
I've been spending hours going through old recordings stashed on my computer and CDs, trying to organize my apparently vast discography and put together some CDs to sell. I think I have enough good material to do two or three discs.
I just bought an Edirol R-09 and am looking forward to capturing more stuff where it's impractical to bring the whole setup (my portable rig is a Roland VS-880 and all of the peripheral crap that goes with it (mics, phantom power boxes, cables, power strips, mic stands, etc.)).

OK, yesterday's performance of selections from Jesus Christ Superstar. www.ricecustomguitars.com/chris/JCS.htmlThis was recorded with my Edirol R-09 on a mic stand on stage (between the drums/percussion and the piano, poointed towards the bass, guitar, and synth. Our vocal monitor was right behind the recorder). I had it set to record in mp3 format to save memory space and simplify editing later. I recorded the whole show (about 45 minutes) and then used Free Audio Editor to cut it into individual songs.

Best church show I've seen. Totally together, and wonderfully talented singers/players. Blew me away. ;D
