Yeah.. it's warming up now. I think the actual temp is about 2 degrees.
I have to go open the music store for the next couple of days, so it might as well be cold- I guess.. The lady who owns it was diagnosed with breast cancer while we were in Guatemala, so she has all kinds of extra things to do.. chemotherapy now, I think radiation comes next. Fortunately, it looks like she'll make it. She's a tough cookie.

Thats too bad about your friend. My mother went through that a couple of years ago too, she is also one tough cookie but that chemo and radiation takes it out of you. Good to hear a good prognosis!

Yep. Sorry to hear about your mom. It takes its toll on everyone. My uncle is dying from lymphoma, too. His twin brother succumbed to the same thing many years ago. I guess the weather becomes secondary at that point. That said, it's still pretty freakin' cold outside.

Well, they cancelled the snow advisory, we only got about an inch overnight. Temps have warmed a bit, up to about+17 F. We expect 1-2 inches over the course of today, and a couple of days warming trend coming up.. I may be able to get back out into the shop tomorrow or Thursday. Hurray!! Of course, meteorologists are notorious for being wrong- but they still get paid.. What a great job!

Wow Only about 2 degrees below freezing this morning Only bad thing about that is that in the gas industry, big temperature changes mean condensation which means water which means there will be some hydrates today Oh well,at least I wont have to wear so many clothes

Yep,I am a field operator.I would not like being stuck in the plant all day.I have about 50 wells on my run.I don't go to them all but most of them every day.I have 11 field compressors that I have to check and log every day. Some are this style I have 6 of these And 3 other bigger ones that I can't find a pic of Well I better get a move on
