Well I would have to say after looking through the gallery It's a tough choice but it's between #58 and #61 I have never been much for green but there is something about #58

If only I had it as easy as you guys...having spent months with each of them I can't pick a favorite. I suppose I'd have to go with #013 as it's mine and full of sentimental value.

Mine, of course - #47.
Of the Rice Customs I do not own - hands down the Mando #098.

I was playing my #76 Rice strat this morning and I imagined Clapton saying, "let me try that," playing it for a minute, and instructing his manager to give me $50,000 for it. Of course, I would say, in the fiction version at least, "it's not for sale." And then he would say, "fine, $100,000" etc. My point is, the guitar just feels and sounds so world class.

#75 is my fav-----back in the 70's I took 2000.00 to Gruhn's guitars to buy a boat load of guitars. I was looking for a 50's strat and tele and maybe a V . Gruhn's only had one 50's strat a 57 so I bought it----then this guy brings out a 1961 custom tele in black with a slabboard neck---he wanted 1100. for it and it was mint. wish I would have bought that tele also. So anyway I've been yearning for a black double bound tele-----the neck I'm undecided on maple or rosewood---------------it will definately be my neck tele

#107 has been getting all of my play time for a few months. I may refret with some 6150s, and may change the pickups to ours, but I may not.

well, over two years after my earlier post (hehe), I can still say #76 is my favorite Rice strat--the guitar that really brought the IDEA of the stratocaster alive for me like no other guitar.

I'm really liking #105. Rich nailed this neck for me, the guitar is a blast to play. The rotary switch isn't as easy to operate as I'd like and the bridge pickup is a little on the thin side, so I'm thinking about swapping for a blade switch and changing the bridge pickup. The pickups are from a 60's Norma. I had it out on a gig a few weeks back, this is the best surf guitar I've ever owned.
