I had to put it on the back burner for a while, too many customer builds and not enough good weather.. I'll resurrect it when things settle down a little, though. I look at it every so often, and it seems pretty stable. If anything, passing time will help the wood stabilize.

Nothing new on this one Rich? Well, finally made some progress on this. I had to let it sit for a long time, as I just didn't trust the neck wood. It looks ok, and I pulled an overnighter last night straightening a twist in the blank. Figuring out how to do it took all night, actually doing it took about 10 minutes. Always gotta think these things through.. In any event, I face jointed the log, and ran both edges through the jointer to square them up. Then ran the blank through the thickness sander for good measure. I picked up the old thread at TDPRI, and posted some pics yesterday. www.tdpri.com/forum/telecaster-discussion-forum/89369-experimental-project.html

Well, I got to play it today. Holy crap is it good... it's not finished yet, but it kicks all kinds of sounds- heavy, full, twang, chime- I cannot believe it! Chris shot some pics, I'm sure he will post them shortly. Holy cow!
