My thoughts exactly.Pretty much every time I play there is a 57 pointed at my amp.I will see what he wants for it.Like I said it is in great shape.Never have too many amps.

After a long drawn out search for variety of tones that i wanted i lucked into a Ampeg Reverbrocket and since havent been inspired to play through anything else Welcome to the board! Ampeg is another personal favorite of mine. I had a couple of Rockets when I was a kid, and my friend had a Gemini I. I'm looking for a very clean Gemini I right now from '66 or before. The Reverberocket was on mt wishlist back then, but was always just beyond my means. What a great amp! Do you know the year of yours?

Well? Did you make any decisions Marty? Inquiring minds want to know... He went on holidays to Mexico on me.Not sure when he will be home. I was in the local music shop and they were trying to sell me a Traynor YCV40.I was actually quite impressed with the sound and the price.Decisions,decisions. I need some things worse than a new amp but

Mmmmm.. Mexico. Wish I was there. Second only to Monterrico, Guatemala... Oh, you got my mind wandering there for a minute.. None of us needs a new amp, until the right one happens along....

I'm playing through an Allen Encore with an Eminence Ragin Cajun and an Eminence Ramrod. Also using an early 90's tweed Peavey Classic 50 with Eminence Swamp Thangs. Both are sounding pretty good to my ears!!

This thread needs some pics-- My Deluxe Reverb (currently sporting an EV 12F and a few minor mods) Trem is switched for a gain boost, volume pulls for bright. My Pro Reverb (1x15" pine cab with EV 15F, Prosonic OT, minor mods) Slowed down the trem, also switched for a gain boost. My Vibroverb (some more mods, 2x10" pine cab) Originally a Bandmaster Reverb, rewired to Vibroverb specs. Reverb dwell knob on the back, trem is switched. Speakers are from an 80's Fender Concert, reverb tank from a Vibrosonic Reverb, OT from my Pro Reverb. Dr Z 6545 (before I bought a Z 1x12") Bassman 135 My Gallien-Krueger and Bag Ends (sold the left stack, 800RB is not mine) That's all I have pics of online.

I have three main amps. A Carmen Ghia head for the cleans, a Mini Z head for the raucous blues tones, and a Fender Blues Jr Tweed for the portability and the odd jammin' session not at my house. Actually used the Blue Jr a couple of weeks ago for a gig. Fun little amp, it is. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the crown jewel of my collection... the mighty Roland MicroCube
